RentMyDrums is a peer-to-peer marketplace that connects drum kit owners with drummers who need a kit for a gig, lesson, studio session, or weekend jam. Think of it as the Airbnb for drums.

Anyone with a verified account can browse and book. You must be 18 or older and have a valid payment method on file. Owners set their own house rules, so read each listing carefully.

Every booking includes a fully refundable deposit hold on your card. It is released automatically when the owner confirms the kit was returned in the same condition. If there is damage, the hold may be used for repairs per our Trust & Safety policy.

Minor wear is expected. For anything beyond that, message the owner right away and document the issue with photos. Our two-way review system and deposit hold process help resolve disputes fairly and quickly.

Sign up, click List Your Kit, and upload a few photos with an honest description. Set your daily rate, availability calendar, and any rules. There is no cost to list.

Payouts are sent to your linked bank account within two business days after the rental period ends and the owner confirms the return. We use Stripe for secure, direct deposits.

Yes. Owners set their own minimum rental period, but many accept single-day bookings. You will see the minimum right on the listing before you book.
